Security & Administrative Control

AIMS provides extensive security and control to protect sensitive data. The basis of AIMS security is the Organisation Structure Tree, which defines relationships between different elements (departments) of the organisation and the users within these elements.

Functions include:

• Set user access and define exactly what each user can see and do
• Creation and maintenance of Organisation Structure Tree
• Target incidents for classification
• Set data to identified or de-identified
• Enter units of Comparison data
• Set up AIMS user e-mail addresses for e-mail notification
• Set up special projects for access to relevant incident data for a defined period
