PSI staff and management have extensive clinical experience and a profound understanding of the complexity of health care and how this impacts patient care and safety. A team of talented software engineers and designers working closely with PSI's clinical staff create innovative and relevant software.

Management

Rod Smith, MBA Chief Executive Officer	In February 2006 the PSI board appointed a new Chief Executive Officer and assigned him the mission of guiding AIMS through the next important phase of evolution. With technical and business skills; experience that includes senior management roles in Australia, Asia and the USA; and hands on expertise in health software product development and marketing, new CEO Rod Smith is amply equipped for the task.
Amanda Anderson, CA Finance Manager	Amanda is a Chartered Accountant with 15 years experience in the finance industry. She manages the accounting function at PSI including management reporting, financial reporting, pricing analysis, cash flow management and budgeting. Her previous experience includes Financial Controller roles at SMEs and audit with KPMG both in Australia and in the UK.
Kim Bannon Client Services & Support Manager	In addition to leading the Client Services team, Kim is responsible for conducting client stakeholder meetings and managing user training programs. Kim's experience with statewide AIMS implementations and her clinical background give her a profound understanding of client needs and business processes. She provides clients with high-quality guidance and support to ensure that implementations are a success.
Delia Dent, MBA Business Development Manager	Delia joined the PSI team in late 2003 after 10 years working in Europe and the United States within the medical device industry. Her experience includes international health care marketing and strategy, brand management, international distribution, product launches, sales force training, MDD (Europe) and FDA (USA) medical device regulations and alliance support. Delia's focus is on international expansion and further development of the Australian/NZ market. Her duties include market analysis, strategy development, marketing, sales development and alliance management.
Adrian Akison Technologies Manager	Adrian has 14 years of experience architecting computer solutions, leading project teams and running professional services for financial and medical markets. He has extensive experience with object-oriented methodologies and languages, enterprise application integration and design patterns with special emphasis on Internet technologies. Adrian was the Chief Architect for New Era of Networks' Asia Pacific division where he designed and managed the implementation of dozens of Enterprise Application Integration solutions. Adrian has a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Southern California. Adrian's management responsibilities include product research, data sciences, application development, product deployment and technical liaison.

Helen Martul Major Accounts Manager	Helen joined PSI in 2006, her focus is on developing and fostering successful client partnerships, with emphasis on understanding the challenges that present in the pursuit of patient safety. Helen strives to ensure that PSI is able to value add and exceed client expectations. Since a comprehensive nursing career, Helen has gained experience in a variety of diverse IT related support roles. Helens role at PSI provides a welcome and ideal opportunity to return to the healthcare environment which she finds both stimulating and hugely rewarding.
